With a will-call arrangement, we wait for you to call to let us know when you require more oil and we get out to as soon as we can. This is most advantageous for those who don't use a lot of fuel oils and only require it occasionally.

Did you know that while oil heat produces up to 30% more heat that other fuels, it's one of the most efficient and by far the safest?
Modern oilheat systems operate at up to 97% efficiency, with the majority operating between 83% and 95%. This means that as little as only 3% of all the heat generated is lost to the outside, making oilheat equal to or batter than natural gas, which operates with an efficiency range of between 78% to 95%.
Even better is that the heating oil that these systems use is a non-explosive, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic liquid that would extinguish a lit match, and when properly maintained produce no soot or odours within your home, and almost no smoke into the chimney.

You might be surprised to learn that oilheat systems are 1% better for the environment than natural gas systems, 136% better for the environment than geothermal heat pumps and an astonishing 2,437% better than wood heat.
These are the findings of a study by the U.S. Oilheat Manufacturers Association which took into consideration the total cost to society of various heating fuels. Because heating oil burns so efficiently - up to 99.9% of the fuel is used to create heat with only 0.1% of it being released into the air as particulates - you require less energy to maintain a comfortable heat and the air pollution released from the system is less significant.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of The Sarjeant Company Chairman, John O. Elliott, who died peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, June 19th.
Friends may visit at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012. A private family service will be held at Midhurst Union Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.steckleygooderham.com.

We are pleased to announce The Sarjeant Co. has grown again.
Beginning August 16, 2010 Sarjeants and Waite Fuels of Gravenhurst have joined forces to better serve our valued customers in the Bracebridge and Gravenhurst areas. Waite Fuels is a family run business that started delivering home heating oil to homes and cottages as well as on and off site diesel fuel delivery back in 1972. It was a natural fit for Waite Fuels to join the Sarjeant family as we have worked together for many years, Sarjeants supplying fuel for the Waite trucks.
