Labourer – Aggregate Pit

The Role
The Labourer is responsible for completing manual labour around our Aggregate pits. They are required to perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Housekeeping and maintenance of pit property; Shoveling, cleaning debris, sweeping etc.
• Assist with picking up and delivering equipment, tools, supplies and materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Comply with company standards, policies and procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as necessary.

Requirements:
• Be punctual, dependable and flexible
• Valid G Drivers License
• Surface Miner Common Core training would be an asset
• Awareness of potential hazards in the workplace
• Must be able to take direction from supervisor, adhere to work schedule and focus on attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined and experience with heavy equipment an asset
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, able to work outside and in all weather conditions.
• Must wear all required personal protective equipment.

Job Type:  Full-time

Salary:  $18.00-$20.00 per hour
