The MacLaren Art Centre and The Sarjeant Company have teamed up yet again for the annual Sarjeant Company Design Project in 2014. This year was a roaring success with eighty-two local students from across Simcoe County participating in the event.
Students have been asked to create unique designs which will be imprinted on The Sarjeant Company’s fleet of trucks as a public art project and travelling exhibition. Each student and participant has been asked to create designs with a rotational composition in order to be displayed on The Sarjeant Company’s rotating concrete trucks.
Students from Collingwood Collegiate Institution, Midland Secondary School, Banting Memorial High School and St. Joseph’s Catholic High School have all created exceptional works of art.
The MacLaren Art Institution and The Sarjeant Company would like to thank all participants and our beloved community for their support of our annual Design Project.
Keep an eye out in your community for our travelling works of art. We look forward to displaying new and exciting designs in 2015!
