Online Banking - Frequently Asked Questions


The most commonly reported problems with telebanking or internet banking are:

 

  • Telephone (Telebanking) or Internet banking can be processed through Royal Bank, TD Bank, Scotia, CIBC, Bank of Montreal, National Bank and most Credit Unions.

  • To pay through your bank’s Telebanking or Internet banking service, you will need your 5 digit customer id number found on your customer statements.

  • the spelling or syntax of our company name. Please make careful note of our spelling SARJEANT (SARJ rather than SERG or SARG)

  • some banks may search by our full company name, try including "The" at the beginning of the search by entering "The Sarjeant Company"

  • Scotiabank: Scotiabank requires that you add "00" (2 zeros) to the beginning of your 5 digit Sarjeant Customer/Account Number, for a total of 7 digits. For example, if your account number is 24680, please enter 0024680 in the customer/account # field.
