All of The Sarjeant Company Ltd. and Custom Concrete Northern’s aggregates come from our aggregate pits to ensure the highest quality. Maintaining and investing in our own pits also ensures we have the volume of product required for any project; as well as allows us to have multiple quality control technicians that ensure the quality of product leaving our pits meets the highest standards of the OSSGA.

Precast recycled concrete blocks 5’x2’x2′. Perfect for creating aggregate bins, landscaping and vehicle protection.
Jersey Barriers
Concrete vehicle barriers can be used for a variety of purposes to block off particular areas or direct pedestrian or vehicle traffic in residential or commercial spaces.

Used for drainage, pipe bedding, landscape ground cover and driveways. Ranges in sizes from 1/4 inch to 1 inch.

SAND
Concrete Sand
This is a washed, coarse sand that is useful in concrete mixes and as a base for laying bricks and pavers. It can also be used for de-icing roadways to improve traction.
Screened Sand
Screened sand is a coarse sand containing no large or foreign material. Used under walkways, interlocking pavers, horse rings, beaches, and trench or pipe bedding.
Fill Sand
As the name implies, used primarily as backfill. Not a screened or processed material. Size of particles varies but is generally fine in nature.
Cable Sand
A screened sand commonly used for laying cable, conduit, gas lines and water pipes.

Clay is one of the oldest and most widely used building materials due to its durability, structural capacity, energy performance and environmental impacts.

Granular Products
Granular ``A``
Granular “A” is a granular base material. Mixture of sand and crushed gravel, crushed rock, blast furnace slag or nickel slag, reclaimed hydraulic cement, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), crushed post-consumer glass, and/or crushed ceramic material, produced within specified gradation bands, 100% passing by mass through 26.1 mm sieve. Limits on fines of a maximum of 8% and a requirement for a minimum of 50% crushed particles.
Granular B
Granular “B” is a granular subbase material. Mixtures of sand and gravel, crushed rock, blast furnace slag, or nickel slag, reclaimed hydraulic cement concrete, reclaimed asphalt pavement, crushed post-consumer glass and/or crushed ceramic material, produced within specified gradation bands, 100% passing by mass through 150 mm sieve.
Recycled Concrete
Can be used in a variety of different ways including: asphalt products, pavements, and stone.
Screening Products
Screenings consist entirely of the fine by-product of the crushing of stone, including fines (dust). Mostly used for a paving stone leveling course, horse tracks, recreational surfaces, driveway surfaces and pathway surfaces.
Gravel Screenings (Unwashed)
Sub-base beneath concrete paving stones or slabs.
Limestone Screening
Contains dirt and is easily packed.
