– Our technicians will examine and validate your unit’s age during the finalists’ complimentary inspection
– If your AC is the oldest one still running after 15+ years, you could be the winner!

THE PRIZE

Oldest AC Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Eligibility:
The Oldest AC Contest (the “Contest”) is open exclusively to legal residents of Simcoe and Muskoka, Canada, who are at least 18 years of age and own a home in the area that is cooled by an air conditioner installed in 2010 or earlier, which serves as the primary cooling source for the home. Employees of Sarjeant and their immediate families are ineligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter:
To enter the Contest, complete the online entry form in full and provide details on your AC unit, including brand, model, and approximate installation date. All entries must be received by 04/30/2025 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per household. Any attempt to obtain additional entries by using multiple email addresses or otherwise will void all entries from that household.

Judging and Notification:
Finalists will be selected based on the AC unit details provided. Finalists will be notified by phone and/or email and will be required to allow an in-home inspection by Sarjeants’ technicians to verify the AC unit’s age and that the unit is still operational. Sarjeants’ technicians will also confirm that there are no code infractions (e.g., electrical, clearances, or obstructions) that would prevent a proper installation and would void eligibility. The entrant with the oldest AC unit still in working order, as determined by Sarjeants’ technicians, will be declared the winner. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email by 15/05/2025.

Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize replaces the winner’s existing AC equipment with new, modern RunTru A4AC Air Conditioning equipment. The new unit will be installed at least 30 days after the winner has been selected and confirmed post-inspection. No cash or other substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The Grand Prize is non-transferable. The winner is responsible for all federal, provincial, and local taxes associated with prize receipt and/or use. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Other Terms:
1. Excludes heat pumps.
2. Up to 3-ton models. (Sarjeants will confirm sizing.)

Social Media and Promotional Consent:
By entering the Oldest AC Contest, the winner explicitly agrees to participate in promotional activities, including but not limited to being featured in social media posts, photographs, and videos related to the Contest, without any further compensation. The winner grants Sarjeants the right to use their name, image, likeness, and AC unit details for promotional and marketing purposes during and after the Contest period.

General Conditions:
By entering, each entrant agrees to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or the Contest itself and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final in all matters related to the Contest. By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner agrees to release the Sponsor and its agencies from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in this Contest or from the acceptance, possession, or use of the Grand Prize. The sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing the offer, administering the contest, or announcing the prize.
