Midland Cultural Centre (MCC)

Midland Cultural Centre (MCC)

Spearheaded by The Weber Foundation, a private foundation founded by Reinhart Weber and his family, The Midland Cultural Centre

(MCC) will be a self-sustaining, inspiring and functional year-round facility for arts and culture in Huronia, designed to meet the need for a centre of teaching and performance in the vibrantly culture-rich North Simcoe area (Midland and Penetanguishene). An avid supporter of the arts, The Sarjeant Company donated $60,000 towards the project.

Located on King Street in the heart of downtown Midland, the MCC will provide a facility for local cultural groups, artists, and individuals to the benefit of the community at large. Arts and culture-related education will be provided through the sharing of skills, knowledge and ideas. Two objectives of the MCC are the development of an appreciation for the importance of the arts and culture by providing a facility to showcase them while enriching the lives of the citizens and visitors to the area.
