Georgian College

With enrolment of over 10,000 full-time students across its seven campuses throughout the Simcoe-Muskoka districts,

and with programs spanning from apprenticeships to degree programs through its University Partnership Centre, Georgian College is a critical component of the local educational and economic structure.

In August of 2011, Georgian College officially opened its Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness, the largest building project in Georgian College history, ushering in a new era in healthcare education. Sarjeants is proud to have donated $250,000 toward the centre, which includes state-of-the-art labs, classrooms and clinics. Along with Sarjeant’s donation, John and Margaret Elliott, both strong believers in education and how it improves industry and the community, donated $1,000,000 to the Centre.

With the new 172,000 square ft. building on its Barrie campus, Georgian College is able to double its full-time health and wellness students from 1,500 to 3,000, and is offering 15 full-time health and wellness programs along with several Continuing Education programs.
