Join Our Team as a Petroleum Sales Representative!

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Petroleum Sales Representative. We are looking for a natural born sales person, driven by commission based compensation, willing to work hard every day to expand our Commercial Fuel division.

The Position:

The Petroleum Sales Representative drives the growth and success of The Sarjeant Company’s Commercial Fuel division. In this role you will develop sustainable business relationships with customers, establish and maintain positive relationships and create new business opportunities. You will organize your time between prospecting new accounts & servicing existing ones by providing sales presentations to customers educating them on our products and services in the commercial cardlock market.


  • 3-5 years of experience in the commercial and delivered fuel industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to establish quick rapport with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to quickly learn product lines, features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Knowledgeable with respect to competitors, suppliers and industry trends/advancements.
  • Must be well organized, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.
  • Commitment to generating new business through phone calls, on-site visits, email and other necessary means.
  • Available for regular travel by car in the designated territory which includes Barrie & the surrounding area, Toronto and the GTA, and the North Simcoe/Muskoka region.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean abstract required.
