AZ or DZ Truck Drivers Custom Concrete (Timmins)

The Position
Custom Concrete is seeking experienced AZ/DZ Drivers to work out of Ready Mix, Aggregate and Bulk Haulage Divisions.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver Ready Mix Concrete in 4 axle Mixer trucks (DZ)
- Deliver Aggregates in Dump Truck and Pups (DZ/AZ)
- Deliver Cement, Propane and Fuel in Bulk Trailers (AZ)
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
- GEOTAB Electronic Logs
- General Laborer work from time to time
- Perform other plant and yard duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have a valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with at least three years of truck driving experience
- A clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR is required
- Understanding of the Highway Traffic Act and Municipalities By laws is required
- Knowledge of ready mix concrete and/or aggregate vehicle equipment is considered an asset
- Ability to operate various transmissions
- Mechanical aptitude is a definite asset
- Excellent hearing and visual concentration skills
- Must be able to work day shifts, night shifts and weekends
- Must be physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
Level
Experienced and licensed professional (3-5 years)
Working Conditions
Qualified applicants must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, and be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Long hours may be required during the busy season; which may include weekends, overnights and holidays.
