The annual Barrie Construction Association Ride for Cancer is designed to raise money and awareness for the Simcoe-Muskoka chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society. Involving a scenic motorcycle ride, barbecues, and lots of fun, The Sarjeant Co helps enable the event by donating its facilities, condiments and some volunteering efforts from its employees.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers, whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Providing peer support, transportation services, practical support and more, the Simcoe-Muskoka chapter is continually holding fundraising and awareness-raising events to aid the fight against cancer.
